The NSW Premier announced that, in addition to Greater Sydney, all people in Cessnock, Dungog, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Muswellbrook, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Singleton local government areas (LGAs) must follow stay-at-home orders from 5 pm 5 August until 12:01 am Friday 13 August. These rules now apply to those in Armidale from 5 pm 7 August until 12:01 am Sunday 15 August.
