NSW RFS Cadet Program

This thursday Oxley students began the secondary schools cadet program with the NSW Rural Fire Service Tamworth District. This program provides Year 9 and 10 students with an insight into fire safety and prevention while developing practical life skills and general appreciation for community and volunteerism. These qualifications can be used later in life, whether it's for work or for joining a volunteer rural fire brigade.
